The Welsh Intensivists in Training (WITS) annual meeting is now only 2 months away so now is the time to book your study leave, reserve your place and submit your trainee presentations.
This year the theme is GI and hepatology and we have an exciting programme with internationally recognised experts coming to talk to us. There will only be time for 5 trainee presentations which can be in the form of a piece of research, an audit or case presentation and will be judged by a panel of consultants.
There will be prizes for the outstanding presentations including 1st prize of an iPad mini not to mention the prestige of winning WITS 2013!
To submit an abstract please send it to me by email no later than 1st April. I will contact you after shortlisting to confirm if you have been successful for presenting on the day. It is likely demand for places this year will be high so secure your place now by emailing me to prevent disappointment! The cost of the day is a mere £25 for WICS members and £35 for non members. There will be an opportunity to join/renew WICS membership on the day. The deadline for reserving your place is 26th April 2013. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 3rd May!
